Four months shy of 75 years of marriage to Betty. Loving father to Penny Ferguson (Pierre)\, Richard Ferguson (Kathy) and Andrea Dunn (Jamie). Grandfather to Jill Cameron (Shawn)\, Michelle Van Rietvelde\, Sidney Dunn (Logan)\, Jason Dunn (Allison) and great grand grandfather to Ryleigh and Paysen Cameron. Special uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Francis Ferguson and Florrie Gregson as well as siblings Edna Buller\, Harry Ferguson\, Jean Edwards and Dorothy Underhill. \nWalter operated “Walter Ferguson Trucking Ltd.” for over 50 years and grew tobacco for the same amount of time. He was a lifelong Member of Cultus United Church and a Member of the Masonic Lodge No. 237\, Vienna\, Ontario. \nFriends and family will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home\, 43 Bidwell Street\, Tillsonburg\, ON N4G 3T6 (519) 842-5221 on Saturday March 15\, 2025 from 12:30 pm until 1:30pm. Masonic Service to be held at 1:45pm. The Funeral Service for Walter will be held at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Cultus Cemetery.
